Hi Ashley,

Thank you for your lovely comments on my blog. Dudley, my cocker spaniel is well on the way to fully recovered (as for me, it maight take a little longer!). He gets his splint off next week. He can hardly wait to get outside and have a run around. They recover amazingly well, don’t they?

My mom forwarded your website/blog to me and all I have to say is…
How cute are you? I love your projects, your adorably written blog and awesome pictures. I want you to know that you are currently living my dream life. I am so jealous I can hardly stand it. If I lived up there and close to you, we would get into a lot of trouble togther. There are few things I like more than seacrching for treasures and DECORATING!!! I find the whole process therapeutic and satisfying on a level different from any other. If I could afford to, I would re-paint my entire house and start from scratch every two years. But for some reason, my hubby is not a fan of that plan at all. I can’t figure that out???? Anyway, so glad to see that you are happy and doing well. I will look forward to enjoying your future projects and entries. If you don’t mind, I will live vicariously through you.

Hi Ashley – love the blog and your projects. Quick question which probably sounds dumb – but I noticed on your pictures you have your name on them..How do you do that? It is nice so that way no one can use them without credit going to you.

Hi Ashley~

Thanks you for stopping by “The Zoo”.

I am excited to get started on the settee. The photo was kind to it. It is quite gold and shagadelic. Super comfy, though. Jason is glowing with all of the “he did such a great job picking that out” comments. His head is swelling. He keeps saying “See. I have good taste!” Me: “Uh-huh. I know, honey.” ;)

Now, for the buffet. I wish I had a bettter answer, but the paint was a total concoction of paint that I have laying around the house. No formula, just mad scientist mixing. The font was from http://www.picnik.com
I believe it was Wenceslas. I use picnik for all of my photo editing, etc. I don’t have photoshop. This works well for me. (which means it’s easy, and I can even do it with my short attention span). ;)

Thanks Tricia, I went and downloaded that font, and then I got drawn in and downloaded about 20 more fonts. :)
